Thanks to a $15,000 matching grant from The Tow Foundation, the Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG) is pleased to launch “Build Up: TAG Community Challenge.” The Build Up campaign is designed to raise general operating support at a time when demand for TAG’s programs is increasing on a global scale.
“I have been continually impressed by the ways TAG has pushed the nonprofit sector to become more equitable in our use of technology and to understand that capacity building is synonymous with technology support,” says Nadia Alia, Director of Operations for the Tow Foundation and a member of the TAG Board of Directors. “I hope you will join The Tow Foundation,” says Alia, “in matching this grant to ramp up TAG’s capacity to continue providing exceptional service in the times when our community needs it most.”
How the Challenge Grant Works
Starting May 16, donations can be made to the “Build Up: TAG Community Challenge” fund here.
For each dollar raised, The Tow Foundation will match 1:1 up to $15,000.
“This campaign is important to me personally because TAG’s toolstack is 14 years old and is holding back the organization,” says Hugo Castro, Director of Operations for TAG. “Our infrastructure becomes even more important as we prepare to launch a new equity training program specifically for staff and consultants in tech-related roles.”
Donate by July 1st to help us match your gift thanks to the generous support of The Tow Foundation. For more information, please contact Chantal Forster, Executive Director of TAG.
