“Where is philanthropy tech headed? What are my peers doing? How can I leverage peer benchmarking to advocate for change within my org?”
In July 2022, TAG conducted a survey to better understand the technology environment, practices, and perceptions in philanthropy. The result is the only comprehensive survey on the current state of technology in philanthropy. Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- IT budget
- IT staffing
- Staff turnover and burnout
- Remote work policies
- Systems selection for GMS, CRM, remote work enablement, etc.
- Cybersecurity breaches, training, and tools
Respondents include corporate, community, family, and private grantmakers. Data are published publicly for use in the charitable sector.
